NOISE MAKERS

I was minding my business trying to ride through the Geneva, IL area when I heard some loud bangs and pops behind me. I thought that it might have been some vehicle backfiring but it lasted to long. When I looked in my rear view mirror, I saw a car coming up behind me filled with some teens.

Every once in a while, the boy in the passenger seat would throw out a string of firecrackers. It wasn't even near the Fourth of July. I guess they wanted to see if they could scare me off the road but I held my ground even after they had passed me and tossed a glass pop bottle onto the road in front of me.
