BIRD IN A CAGE
I thought it was great to see another cyclist in front
of me about a half mile on the road heading south about a few miles from Vincennes, IN. It
had been months since I had seen another cyclist. The
closer that I got to the other cyclist I noticed that
he was carrying a different type of load on the back
of his bicycle. I thought that I had seen everything
but this topped them all.
In back of the cyclist's bike was a large bird cage.
Inside of it was a small macaw. When I asked the
cyclist who had to have been in his late fifties or
early sixties what was happening and he told me that
he had gone up to Michigan to visit his mother and he
was going home to Florida.
