STORIES FROM THE ROAD

LOOSE CHANGE
About two miles out of Bryan, OH on US 127 and OH 15, I
was surprised at seeing a large amount of loose change
on the pavement and along the road. Finding loose
change was almost a daily occurance. Mostly the change
was pennies.
Intersections were a common place to find something.
It seemed that drivers would go through their pockets
while they were waiting for traffic and throw the
small stuff out the window where it would be destroyed
by cars and trucks passing over it. What was so
amazing about this was the amount. By the time that I
had picked all of the pennies, nickels, dimes, and
quarters that I could find the amount came to $2.65.
