SERVICE IS...... and TECHNICOLOR RAINBOW
I took some time riding around the Logansport, In checking out
the various churches to see if there was one that I
was drawn to for the morning service. The sign in
front of the Methodist church caught my eye and I knew
that this was the church for me. The sign read
"Service is Love in Work Clothes". These six words
said it all for me.
There wasn't going to be any Sunday school classes
because the children were going to put on a program
during the service. The mini musical was called "The
Technicolor Rainbow" and it was about Noah and the
animals that he carried in the Ark. Most of the kids
whose ages ranged from six to twelve wore either
animal masks or noses. Some of the kids really got
into it.
I really had a good time. Before I got ready
to leave, one of the ladies who sat by me surprised me
by slipping me twenty dollars.
