Update #4 - Feb 10th, 2005
Brookhaven, MS - 1275.5 miles (2040.8 kms.)

The ride to Brookaville, MS went okay but it was a bit of a waste of time. I should have done more research and possibly sent an email to the ministry with the volunteer program. The trip took me 11 days instead of the week that I estimated because of bad weather (rain.) When I got to Brooksville, I called the center but I just got an answering machine. Also, the center was located several miles north of town and then three miles down a gravel road. There would have been no way for me to get there down the road since it had rained for several days. I headed south to Macon.

I'm making my way over to Natchez, MS where I'll try and cross the Mississippi River into Louisiana. I might be cycling to Vinton, LA to see how my pastor friend is doing at the Methodist Church. I've got an open invitation to speak there whenever I'm in the area.

I'll try and post and update as often as I can if my plans change.
