TRIP 2010

Update #05 - February 13th
Americus, Georgia
00.00 miles (00.00 KM)

Snow !!!

We had a rare snow event yesterday here in Southwest Georgia. The weather service had predicted this storm a couple of days ago. They were saying that the snow line would have been north of Americus at Macon (eighty miles to the north). It started around 10 AM and it kept snowing till around 5 PM. The storm had gone southward some so Mobile, Alabama; Jacksonville, Pensacola, and Tallehassee, Florida were affected. We got about three inches of snow. It will be here through the weekend. The last significant accumulation of snow here in Southwest Georgia was back in 1973. Here is a slideshow of the pictures that I took.

There might be another posting around Feb 19th. This will be the seventeenth anniversary on when this adventure on two-wheels had started. Until, then I wish everybody who reads this good life and health.
