TRIP 2010

Update #27 - October 01st
Lexington, South Carolina
7,525.07 miles (12,056.11 KM)

Good News!!! Praise ADONAI!!

Yesterday afternoon, I was finally able to see a doctor at a free clinic in West Columbia, South Carolina. I had been concerned that something major was still going on with my left wrist. When the doctor looked at my wrist, she didn't find anything wrong with it. Both of my hands and wrists looked symetrical. I've got good color in the left hand so the blood flow isn't restricted. My range of motion is okay. She didn't feel that I needed to have an x-ray done on the hand and the wrist.

The doctor said that I might have pulled or strained one or more of the ligaments or tendons and there might still be some inflamation. For treatment, she put me on an anti-inflammatory drug for 30 days. I've got to take it twice a day and also I've got to be careful in over-extending the use of the hand and wrist for a while. I hope that this will be the end of wrist problems.

I'll try and add a new update every two weeks along the way so the next one will be around October 15th.
